It would not suffice to say that filling the shoes left by Mike Britton is going to be hard, for Mike was an instrumental mind behind the success of the Deschutes Basin Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) and thus the continuation of irrigated agriculture in Jefferson County. The Bend Bulletin's  Michael Kohn sits down with Britton to garner some insight into his process, his hardles, and successes.
